Yeah, he totally showed how much of a racist he was when he idealized Lamumba, went to the Congo to lend his expertise and believed all men had the right to be free… I like how even dead there’s a need to villify this man.

All he was trying to do in the Congo was spread his ideals under the guise of a people’s revolution. He thought so little of the Congolese people that he didn’t even trust them to help him because he thought they were completely incompetent, so he used his own Cuban mercenaries to further the revolution. He wasn’t trying to help them, he just wanted to essentially take them over.
